Pneumatic
Tired Cradles
PROLINE’s Pneumatic Tired Cradles support
and guide the pipe during the lowering-in operation while protecting
the pipe coating. Heavy-duty steel frames quickly adjust for any pipe
size within the cradle’s range. Lateral guide rollers keep the
pipe centered on the multi-ply rubber tires.
Features:
- Available models to accommodate pipe sizes from 2" through
48" (60.3 mm – 1219.2 mm)
- Large multi-ply pneumatic tires and wheels mounted on a strong
frame with lifting bales
- Insulated, coated and wrapped pipe can be handled without damage

Rolli Cradles (Wrap-around)
PROLINE
Rolli Cradles are cradles that wrap around the pipe. The cradle
forms a continuous roller surrounding the lower half of the pipe.
Choose from cradles for pipe from 2" to 60" (60.3 mm –
1524 mm) in diameter.
Features:
- Pipe can be kept close to the ground allowing operators more
control and mobility
- One size handles a wide range of pipe sizes
- Antifriction bearings lower rolling resistance
- Multiple polyurethane rollers spaced equally to support the
pipe evenly eliminating “egging” of the pipe
- The polyurethane rollers make it ride easily over weld seams
without hanging up
- The design provides quick disassembly for transit and storage
- Polyurethane rollers eliminate pipe coating damage

Lowering
In Belts
Knudsen
PROLINE manufactures the Knudsen Lowering-In- Belt that is fast,
safe, economical and highly recommended for handling coated pipe.
This tremendously strong and durable belt will not mar coated pipe.
It evenly cushions the load and is made with rubber belting over
strong wire rope.
Features:
- One man hook up, very easy to handle
- Self- releasing feature – hooks automatically slide out
of belt after pipe is landed
Liftex Pipeline Lowering-in-Belts are made from top-grade material including
alloy steel end irons and abrasion resistant nylon, coated for a
longer life. Liftex belts are strong enough to satisfy your strength
requirements and lightweight and flexible for maximum ease of handling.
Comes in standard or special belts through 60", 1524 mm wide.
Liftex also offers a Lined Steel Choker Belt, the
steel-lined fabric-faced belt holds the pipe firmly in place with
no slippage.

Pipe Stringing Chutes
The
PROLINE Pipe Stringing Chute is designed for safely and easily stringing
pipe off the truck trailer onto the ground during pipe stringing.
Two roller assemblies mount onto the loaded truck trailer. As the
truck slowly moves the pipe is rolled, one at a time, onto the roller
assemblies and pushed down the attached chute onto the ground. This
process continues until all pipe is removed from the truckload.
Features:
- Accommodates pipe sizes 2" through 8" (50.8mm –
203.2 mm)
- Polyurethane coated rollers and frame to help eliminate pipe-coating
damage
- Light weight for easy installation

steel complete with rugged Teflon inserts, load rated for safety.
Specially designed for fast hook-up. Comes in sizes from 3"to

Pipe Stands
PROLINE Pipe Stands are lightweight, stackable for easy handling,
transportation and storage. One plastic pipe stand will replace
several wooden skids.

Auto
Release Tongs
PROLINE sells Auto Release Tongs that are designed to permit an automatic
release of the pipe when lift line is slacked off. They are built
to withstand the tough conditions encountered in pipeline construction.

of the pipe
- Grip pads replaceable in the field

Slings
Slinger
Round Slings from Sling Tech are made of high tenacity polyester
yarn in an endless or continuous loop covered with two woven polyester
jackets that act as a buffer between the load and the inner yarn.
